Terms and Conditions
- Entrants must be aged 18 or over and a resident within Europe. Only one entry (by registration as a Hero) may be made per person. To enter the awards you must be registered as a Hero on www.systemheroes.co.uk. Employees of Sun Microsystems and their immediate families, agents and employees may not enter.
- Each person who registers or who is already registered as a Hero on www.systemheroes.co.uk will be eligible to take part in the awards. For those who have previously registered, a link will be automatically sent to them for collecting nominations. For those who are new registrants, a link will be provided as part of the registration process. Therefore they will automatically be entered into the Awards unless they advise Sun Microsystems to the contrary. Competition closes 12pm BST 27th August 2009 and the winners will be those with the most amounts of nominations (virtual gifts) at this point. Only one virtual gift(nomination) will be counted per individual name and email address that is submitted.
- No purchase necessary.
- There will be one winner and 9 runners up prizes. The main winner prize will be £250 worth of Amazon gift vouchers, sent by email to the winner from the .co.uk site of Amazon. The nine runners up will each receive £100 worth of Amazon vouchers. No alternative prize or cash alternative will be offered except that Sun Microsystems reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event that the prize becomes unavailable.
- The prize is non-transferable.
- To be eligible, your nominations must be received by the closing date and Sun Microsystems accepts no responsibility for entries lost or damaged or received after the closing date.
- Sun Microsystems reserves the right to disqualify entries for breach of these terms and conditions. Sun Microsystems in its absolute discretion reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions.
- The winner and runner ups will be notified by email within 2 weeks of the closing date. Only the winner and runner ups will receive written notification. The winners will also be published on the homepage of www.systemheroes.co.uk shortly after the closing date. The status of every entrant (Hero) will be shown on their Profile within HEROCentral throughout the Awards (which is viewable by anyone).
- The winner's name may be obtained up to six weeks from the closing date by sending an SAE marked 'Sys Admin Day Awards' to Sally Riddette-Page, Sun Microsystems, Java House, Guillemont Park, Minley Road, Blackwater, Camberley, GU17 9QG.
- The result of the competition and the promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner agrees to take part in any reasonable publicity in relation to the draw.
- All entries become property of Sun Microsystems, whose decision in all matters are final.
